Marketing Associate - Buxbaum HCS

Buxbaum HCS seeks a Marketing Associate to assist with the company’s marketing efforts. The Marketing Associate will be an integral part of a lean operating team. This is a hands-on role with significant growth potential where a “no task is too big nor too small” outlook is required.  This full-time position will encompass a wide array of responsibilities including creating and distributing marketing content, updating the firm’s website, conducting outreach to past, current, and potential clients and employees, and researching and targeting opportunities in the marketplace. The position will require working closely with the management  team members on some communication-related administrative duties. This is a new position, so the ideal candidate is a self-starter who is excited to collaborate with our team to execute a new marketing approach for the company from scratch.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Execute marketing strategy in coordination with senior management
  • Create and execute marketing campaigns to be distributed via email and social media
  • Create physical and digital marketing materials to be used in proposals and presentations for prospective clients and collaborators
  • Update and maintain the company website to reflect current service offerings
  • Create, track, and manage internal and external communications, marketing emails, website metrics, and newsletters, and report on key marketing KPIs
  • Manage CRM and track statistics related to prospective, active, and former clients and staff
  • Provide administrative support as assigned by Chief Administrative Officer on a routine and ad hoc basis
  • Prepare written correspondence, reports, and other materials for external distribution as needed
  • Connect with current and former clients and team members to gather testimonials and case studies for  use on website and in collateral marketing materials

Preferred skills and abilities:

  • Excellent  written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in marketing, operational and/or administrative support
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience working with CRM systems, and manipulating quantitative data in Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, multi-task, and collaborate with a team
  • Ability to develop and implement goals, objectives, policies, procedures, work standards and internal controls.

Ideal candidates for this position will meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of marketing experience
  • Experience working in a professional services environment is preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Familiarity with macOS and iOS
  • Proficiency working with WordPress websites is preferred
